Rosso di Montalcino (red from Montalcino) are a young vne version of it's big brother Brunello di Montalcino. Made from a Sangiovese variant called sangiovese grosso or the indigenous Brunello. These wines feature ripe red berry and sour cherry fruit and enough acidity to make them perfect food wines. This one also works well just to sip with some cheese and think about your next trip to Tuscany.
