Cotes du Rhone can sometimes be, (how to say this politely) underwhelming. They can be flacid and non descript. This is the wine to break that mold. Drinking like a baby Chateau Neuf du Pape, this Feraud Brunel is lively and fresh, earthy and sophisticated. It has tons of peppery fruit from the Grenache and a string backbone from the syrah. Great balance, excellent with food and it's organic. A homerun all around.
