Michael and Robert Eigen have taken their over twenty five years in the retail jewelry business and channeled it into one of New York's most dynamic wine stores. A year in planning has culminated in a true "boutique" experience that features the finest of France. Italy and the New World.Every wine that is on our shelf has been sampled by us and we pride ourselves in a comprehensive understanding of the qualities that make wines great. We also understand the intimidation factor faced by many wine buyers.Both Michael and Robert have pursued advanced degrees in Wines studies at the Prestigious Wine and Spirits Education Trust, furthering their knowledge and appreciation of all wines. Michael Eigen - Owners
Michael Eigen, owner has combined a lifetime of retail experience and a love of wine into Premier Cru Wine Merchants. He holds a Certificate of Wine Studies with Merit from the prestigious Wine and Spirits Education Trust in England and has tasted well over ten thousand wines. Making wine less perplexing is his goal. Making you a better drinker is just a bonus. A budding racecar driver Michael is trying to figure out to combine his two favorite things and stay out of jail.

Carla brings an artistic bent to our store and that's just fine with us. Aside from being an accomplished painter Carla is a teacher and longtime wine enthusiast. Her wine knowledge is excellent and she is willing and able to walk you through any wine questions you might have.
